One announcement, several ways to read it
The organiser has announced a 2027 edition connecting Portugal and Morocco. For people following from Morocco, the finish is only one part of the story. Each host town offers a way to understand the journey. We explain that programme without treating a calendar entry as a promise of public access.
Choose your way into the race
You might follow a category, a particular day or a town. Decide what interests you first: navigation decisions, the work of a crew or the atmosphere at a finish. The calendar puts that interest on a date; the spectator guide helps you ask the practical questions.
Distance is only part of the story
A timed distance tells you how long a special is, not how difficult it will be on its own. Ground conditions, visibility and accumulated fatigue change the meaning of every kilometre. Our guides explain those distinctions before adding more numbers.
Before making a booking
A town listed in the programme is not automatically a spectator location. Check the organiser’s communications and local instructions before fixing a journey. Public viewing areas and detailed timings still need to be confirmed for your chosen location.
